FreeVee Friday [TAL Noisemaker]
Welcome back MM “FreeVee” friday fans, Tru is back from musical hibernation and ready to share with you a new Vsti for all of you “sub whores” out there who just can’t get enough. The TAL-Noisemaker is brought to us by Togu Audio Line an awesome team of programmers and sound designers based in Switzerland. They’ve been around since 2000 so it’s safe to say these Swedes know what their doing when it comes to delivering high quality, great sounding products. It’s been “buzzing” in the music community that TAL has some of the best commercial vintage synths emulations in the game.
The TAL-NoiseMaker is a very versataile, “plump” sounding and traditional analogue-modeling synth. It’s fun to use, and easy to tweak for all of you interested in sound design, but also comes with a “staggering” 128 presets 80 of which were made by Frank “Xenox” Neumann a very talented and popular sound designer. This synth can do some serious bass – great for layering under reese or stab sounds for example. Sound quality wise it easily beats many commercial synths out there. I especially like how the pulse wave oscillator sounds. It is an improved version of TAL-Elek7ro and has a completely new synth engine and a lot of improvements in sound and usability. The synth also includes a small effect section with a reverb, chorus and a simple bit crusher effect. It is all “packed’ in to a very “sexy” GUI that’s a cinch to understand.
Overall I’m very impressed with TAL-Noisemaker, it can be used in all genre’s of music except for maybe polka or anything involving Tibetan throat singers. Other than that I think it’s worth taking the time to download, it’s been very useful for me and I think you’ll agree. As always I’d like to thank Togu Audio Line for offering something as amazing as this Vsti to the electronic music community absolutely free of charge. Wanna try it out click here
