The Focus Collection Review
In this review, we have The Focus Kit presented by IStandardproducers.com, which delivered some banging sounds that we all could use. 1st of all, Focus produced one of my favorite records ever with Busta Rhymes “Respect My Conglomorte” & 112 “You Already Know”. With this kit you get the stems from “Conglomorte”, Stat Quo’s “In California” and some new freshness.
The Focus Kit is equipped with 100 sounds total (30 Snares/Claps/Rims, 20 Kicks/Subs, 20 Loops, and 30 Live bass, horns, crashes, stabs, and fills. These sounds really define the sound of Focus, HUGE sounding tracks. The snares and claps are crazy big to really fill the pocket for that west coast banger. Mixed and processed very well and gives a good range finding something different that will boost any tracks level of energy. The kicks are really dope but the subs win me over. Not the traditional 808, these subs really give the low frequency but then gives a grimy feel on top.
Now this is the time for us producers to get creative and CHOP, CHOP, CHOP! I really enjoy the thought of taking loops and manipulate the original sound and making it your own. Plenty of dopiness from the stems, drum loops, and melodies that was created by Focus. Crazy Keys Just from the drum loops themselves you can easily make new drum kits to add more individual sounds to the stash!
