In a world filled with male producers, “GEORGIA ANNE MULDROW” cut herself a BIG slice of the pie! Born in 1983, (yeah I know she may be young), but the beast of hiphop that resides within her, is that of one who actually started this movement. She is the first female artist signed to the label and is the wife of fellow label artist Dudley Perkins (aka “Declaime”). Her father is the late jazz guitarist Ronald Muldrow and her mother is Rickie Byars-Beckwith, the musical director of Agape Spiritual Center in Culver City, CA and Stepfather is Rev. Michael Beckwith who is best known for being a teacher in the movie and book “The Secret” . Her early work involved collaborations with the Platinum Pied Pipers, Sa-Ra, and J*DaVeY. She is known for playing the majority of instruments featured on her recordings. Her vocal style and musical accompaniment often are free-form in nature. Myself and many others feel the same when it comes to the true art of hip hop. Hip Hop is a feeling inside. Most recently she produced and is featured with Dudley Perkins on an album for Mello Music Group. Her latest work is called “SEEDS”. Let’s show support for our Queen in hiphop, because this is truly a rarity! Check her out in this interveiw with DubSpot:
I want you to look at who is sitting beside her. Her Mother (capitalised on purpose). We need to share what we do with the ones we love. Yeah I know, they may not understand what we do, and why we do it. But, once they do, you’ll be shocked at the love, inspiration and support you receive in the end. This is your boy Rushaa with Machine Masters saying, “Holla at cha later!”
Special thanx to: AG, DubSpot,YouTube and our Lady of the day: “GEORGIA ANNE MULDROW”
